Dylan Futrell is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on environmental, construction, and corporate matters in both state and federal court. He represents landowners in environmental litigation involving property damage and contamination arising from oil and gas operations, including claims related to soil, groundwater, and surface impacts. 

In addition, Dylan represents project owners in construction disputes arising out of work performed, including claims involving defective workmanship, delays, cost overruns, and contractual issues. He regularly handles matters involving contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals, and approaches these disputes with a focus on decisive advocacy and efficient resolution. Dylan also provides corporate defense representation, advising and defending businesses across a range of commercial disputes. 

In 2025, Dylan was named one of three Loyola University New Orleans College of Law junior members to the Louisiana State Law Institute. The institute is dedicated to law revision, law reform, and legal research. He is also a member of the New Orleans Bar Association.

Dylan received his law degree, summa cum laude, from Loyola and was a William L. Crowe scholar. While in law school, he served as the Casenote and Comment Editor of the Loyola Law Review. Dylan also served as the Loyola Moot Court Admiralty Team Coach (2024) and Oralist (2023).
