Hogan Paschal represents plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts across the country.
Hogan’s diverse practice covers complex environmental, securities, antitrust, products liability, tax, international arbitration, and other civil litigation. Hogan previously maintained a transactional practice for several years. She has represented a broad range of public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, and in general corporate and regulatory compliance matters. With her transactional experience, Hogan brings practical insight into the matters she now litigates.
Hogan holds leadership positions in many of the complex matters that she litigates. She was appointed by U.S. District Judge M. Casey Rodgers to the Law and Briefing Subcommittee in the Depo-Provera Products Liability Litigation (Case No. 3:25-md-3140). Additionally, Hogan serves as co-chair of the Bank Defendant Committee in the multidistrict litigation In re FTX Cryptocurrency Exchange Collapse.
Hogan is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the Association for Women Attorneys – New Orleans and the New Orleans Bar Association. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and One to Watch by Best Lawyers.

Representative Matters
- Represents the County of Los Angeles in litigation against the current and predecessor operators of Inglewood Oil Field, one of the largest urban oilfields in the country, seeking to plug and abandon low and non-producing oil and gas wells in the oilfield, and to recover unjust enrichment and other damages from the operators’ decades-long failure to decommission the wells.
- Represents a putative class of broker-dealers in an antitrust class action against Boats Group, LLC, which owns and operators the three largest online classifieds platforms in the recreational marine industry—Boat Trader, YachtWorld, and boats.com—alleging monopolization in violation of the Sherman Act, Section 1 and state antitrust laws.
- Represents commercial fishermen, shrimpers, crabbers, oystermen and others harmed by an oil spill exceeding 31,000 gallons of Venezuelan crude oil from the Louisiana Offshore Oil Port (LOOP) the country’s only deepwater offshore oil port that can store and transport crude oil, operated by a joint venture between several of the industry’s largest multi-national oil and gas producers.
- Represents plaintiffs in the In re Depo-Provera (Depot Medroxyprogesterone Acetate) multidistrict litigation, arising from cranial injuries sustained from their use of the injectable contraceptive, and serves on the Plaintiffs Steering Committee as a member of the Law & Briefing Subcommittee
- Represents a putative class of plaintiffs in St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands, who have suffered catastrophic damage from multiple chemical releases from the Limetree Bay Refinery; the case involves multiple state and federal causes of action, and the damages are well over $700 million.
- Represents a putative class of customers defrauded by FTX and who suffered losses totaling more than $8 billion from the collapse of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange in the multidistrict litigation In re FTX Cryptocurrency Exchange Collapse, for which she serves as co-chair of the Bank Defendant Committee.
- Represents landowners across the country in litigation to require oil and gas operators to plug and abandon low and non-producing wells and decommission attendant pipeline and facilities encumbering the plaintiffs’ properties.
- Represents a diversified holding company with more than $1 billion in assets in a licensing dispute against seismic data software company.
- Represents plaintiff in suit against national banks in litigation alleging that the defendants negligently aided and abetted fraudulent scheme perpetrated by the plaintiff’s law partner through which he embezzled tens of millions of dollars from the plaintiff and their shared firm.
- Represents putative classes of residents in Louisiana’s “Cancer Alley” in suits against petrochemical manufacturers and refiners, including Denka Performance Elastomer and Marathon Oil Co., for damages sustained from uncontrolled and excessive emissions of chloroprene, benzene, naphtha, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and other toxins from their facilities.
- Represents lessees of low-income housing units in the Virgin Islands in litigation against AIG, Blackstone, and other developers for breach of contract and other claims arising from the defendants failure to honor the lessees’ option to purchase their units at the conclusion of the development’s 15-year participation in the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program passed by the federal government.
- Represented individuals and the Official Stanford Investor’s Committee against five domestic and international banks in suit alleging the banks aided and abetted the $7 billion Ponzi scheme perpetrated by R. Allen Stanford and obtained amounting to more than $1.6 billion.
- Represented the Orleans Parish School Board and a charter foundation in suit arising out of defective construction work at a school building; obtained multi-million-dollar verdict in favor of the School Board and the foundation at trial.
- Represented commercial contractors as claimants in confidential international arbitrations against Ethiopia and Pakistan arising out of large-scale infrastructure and industrial development projects; obtained multi-million-dollar award in favor of claimants .
- Represented Puerto Rican individual physician associations in suits against insulin manufacturers and pharmacy benefit managers for damages suffered as a result of the defendants alleged price-fixing scheme.
- Represented firefighters in state court litigation against manufacturers of AFFF firefighting foam, which plaintiffs allege contained PFAS and PFOS, causing the firefighters to develop testicular and other cancers from their use of the foam in the course of firefighting for many years.
- Represented the Louisiana Department of Revenue in cases against several online travel companies for sales taxes.
- Represented an attorney and law firm in a legal malpractice suit seeking nearly $20 million in damages.
- Represented shareholders of various REITs in derivative and direct litigation for damages arising from fiduciary breaches, waste, and mismanagement.
